Volume 9 (2000): Spirituality and Giftedness The field of spiritual intelligence is explored by Noble, who sees this ability as awareness of expanded dimensions of reality. She uses a case-study approach to describe spiritual processes. Other research looks at beliefs and consciousness (Jewkes and Baruss), spirituality in young children (Harrison), and children’s spiritual experiences remembered by adults (Piechowski). Deslauriers writes about spiritual intelligence and dreamwork. Shamanic and kundalini experiences are recounted as personal history (Kerr/Mcalister and Kopp), while Chauvin makes a case for existentially based therapy as most fit to deal with the experiences of gifted clients.
