Volume 11 (2007): Social Issues of the Gifted Since we sent out our Call for Manuscripts, we have been excited to receive a remarkably international response. Never before have we had so many authors based outside the US or writing about situations in other countries. It is clear the “social issues of the gifted” know no boundaries: difficulties with fitting in, developing positive self-esteem, and finding social support are cross-cultural. It’s not easy being gifted.
